Assembly of the European Boxing Confederation takes stock of 4 years

From February 21 to 23, in Moscow passes the regular reporting and election Assembly of the European Boxing Confederation (EUBC), which is held every four years.

 

Our country at this forum is represented by the President of the Boxing Federation of Moldova Vasili Kirtoka and the vice-president Maxim Chertykovtsev. On the agenda of the Assembly - the report of the leadership of the confederation, amending the Charter, as well as the election of the EUBC leadership. As a sensation, the introduction of revolutionary amendments into the organization’s Charter, allowing professionals from all types of martial arts to take part in competitions in Olympic boxing on the European continent.

 

Until recently, any performance in Olympic boxing competitions was banned even for professional boxers. Today, February 23, the results of the elections to the governing bodies was summed up. Vice President of the Boxing Federation of Moldova Maxim Chertykovtsev was elected to the EUBC Executive Committee for the second time. He will also take the position of Deputy Chairman of the Commission for the competition - a key part of EUBC.
